Her client engagements span across several industries in the private sector and also include state government collaborations, professional association board meetings and stakeholder engagement sessions for social service non-profits institutions of higher eduction and global non-governmental agencies. She earned her undergraduate degree at Stony Brook University and a Masters at the University of Illinois.

Lynda Baker, president and founder of MeetingSolution, is a leader in the field of group process consultation and values-based meeting facilitation. She has served on the board of directors of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), as a past president of the Austin, Texas chapter of the Association for Talent Development and on the regional board of the Southwest Facilitators Network. 


Her co-authored chapter on facilitator competencies appears in the landmark publication, IAF Handbook of Group Facilitation, (Jossey-Bass, 2005). She also served on the editorial board of Group Facilitation: A Research and Applications Journal, published by IAF. Soon after becoming Certified as a Professional Facilitator (CPF) by IAF she began serving as an assessor for their certification program and she continues to serve in that role today.


Certified as a Technology of Participation (ToP™) facilitator, a mentor trainer in the ToP™ methodology and an assessor for the Institute for Cultural Affairs certification program, she is particularly adept at engaging and managing high levels of participation and achieving actionable results. She specializes in using graphic templates and in facilitating participatory strategic planning. She is also a member of the Organization Development Network.
