About Us
Lynda Lieberman Baker, MEd, CPF, CToPF
Lynda, a Certified Technology of Participation™ Facilitator,
Assessor, and Mentor Trainer, is founder
and president of MeetingSolution. She has the experience
and the skills to get results with groups ranging from
1 to 100. A creative facilitator, skilled trainer and
dynamic presenter, she has worked with individuals
as well as Fortune 500
corporations, state and local governments, and
non-profit community organizations to help them find
their own best solutions.
Qualifications
Lynda helps groups sort through complex issues to
see them clearly, realizing potential that otherwise may
be overlooked. She draws on a personal tool kit
of adaptable meeting solutions which help each group
achieve ownership of its particular meeting. Lynda, and
all the MeetingSolution associates, adhere to the
highest ethical standards and are committed to the
International Association of Facilitator’s Code of
Ethics.
Lynda also employs a wide variety of engaging
facilitation tools. She trains clients to use
work and personal styles assessments to help teams work
together most effectively. Graphics and accelerated
learning principles get participants of all learning
styles involved in the process. And fast-paced idea
generation techniques engage participation and produce
higher quality results.
Lynda contributes to the professional community.
She has served on the board of directors
of the International Association of Facilitators and on the editorial board of the
association's journal, Group Facilitation: A Research
and Applications Journal. She is a Past President of the
Austin Chapter of the ASTD (American Society for
Training and Development).
She has been a featured presenter at local,
regional, national and international professional
conferences, including the International Association of
Facilitators, United Nations Development Program,
Southwest Facilitators Network, Meeting Professionals
International, the International Society for Performance
Improvement, and Leadership Austin.
Credentials
Lynda has successfully completed the International
Association of Facilitators (IAF) accreditation as a
Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) and
subsequently became an assessor for the certification
program,. She is currently one of 50 assessors
world-wide. Qualified by the
Institute of Cultural Affairs as a Technology of
Participation™ mentor trainer and accredited as a practitioner
of the Insights Discovery System™ Lynda is highly
qualified to work with a wide variety of organizational
challenges.
She has completed the 40-hour mediation training
conducted by the Public Policy Dispute Resolution Center
at the University of Texas School of Law, the Human
Resource Development Instructor Certificate Program at
The University of Texas at Austin and the Strategic
Visioning Graphic Facilitation Training offered by Grove
Consultants International. She received her BA from the
State University of New York at Stony Brook, her MEd at
the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and has
completed substantial doctoral coursework in Educational
Psychology also at the University of Illinois.

The Competent Facilitator
The consummate competent facilitator, Lynda has been a regular
contributor to the 3M Meeting Network web site where she
wrote the feature, "Be a Competent Facilitator." The tips
and techniques she offers are based on the International
Association of Facilitators (IAF) Certified Professional
Facilitator competencies.
